Olga is an associate practicing in
the area of intellectual property law and litigation
with primary emphasis on pharmaceutical litigation
pursuant to the Patented Medicines (Notice of
Compliance) Regulations. She provides litigation
support at all stages of the litigation process. Olga
has been involved in trade-mark and patent prosecution
matters related to chemicals, pharmaceuticals and
biotechnology.
Olga was called to the Bar of
Ontario in 2005 after receiving her law degree from the
University of Western Ontario. Olga is a regular
contributor to the Legal Alert - Briefly Speaking.
Olga obtained her M.Sc. in
Chemistry and Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from M.V.
Lomonosov State University in Moscow (Russia), her Ph.D.
thesis entitled Homogenous Hydrogenation of
N-Containing Aromatic and Aromatic Heterocyclic
Compounds in Presence of Rh-, Pd- or Pt-Catalysts.
Olga co-authored several original scientific articles
and inventions.
