Christopher Tan practices exclusively in the area of intellectual
property litigation, with particular emphasis on
trade-mark matters and actions to recover damages and
accounting of profits in relation to patents. Mr. Tan
has appeared as counsel before the Federal Court of
Appeal, the Federal Court and the Trade-marks Opposition
Board.
Mr. Tan is a registered Canadian Trade-mark Agent. His experience
includes drafting and prosecuting trade-mark
applications, as well as acting in opposition
proceedings before the Trade-marks Opposition Board and
expungement proceedings before the Federal Court.
Mr. Tan obtained a Bachelor of Science (Honours Biology) from the
University of Ottawa and Bachelor of Laws from the
University of Western Ontario. Prior to joining this
firm, Mr. Tan articled and practiced at a full service
law firm and also worked with in-house counsel of a
large crown corporation. |
